Ubleam

Since August 2012, I am the head of the Computer Vision department at Ubleam. Ubleam is a startup located in Toulouse, France, that makes a universal and smart tag readable with smartphones: the Bleam. I develop all the computer vision algorithms related to the bleam, including augmented reality.

Research

From October 2011 to July 2012, I was a post-doc at IRIT in the Vortex team. I worked with Lilian Calvet, Vincent Charvillat, and Pierre Gurdjos on topics related to realtime on-set matchmoving using circular markers.

From October 2010 to September 2011, I was a post-doc at IMFT (Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse). The main goal of this post-doc was to apply the techniques and tools I have learnt and developped during my Ph.D. to process the images of the experiments conducted in fluid mechanics. This work was supervised by Emmanuel Cid and Adrien Bartoli. It was funded by the federation of research Fermat. We have have developped new techniques and tools to tag a liquid at the molecular level and to track this tagging over space and time.

From 2007 to 2010, I prepared a Ph.D. at ISIT (Université d'Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France), at LASMEA (Université Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand) and at CAMP Group (TU München, Munich, Germany). I worked in the field of computer vision under the joint supervison of Prof. Adrien Bartoli, Prof. Nassir Navab, and Prof. Rémy Malgouyres. My research interests include, but are not limited to, surface fitting, range data, 3D surface reconstruction, and image registration. During this Ph.D., I took a particular interest in computer vision in deformable environments.
